In the mean time, we’d like to announce our Twitter Competition for the event.

Details are as follows:

Cheer on your teams, friends, and co-workers on Twitter!  We will have TV screens set up to follow the thread.  

The rules:

• Vector has created a hashtag #flipOOHtfor everyone to follow the feed
• All teams must tweet @VectorMedia
• Each team will have a hashtag for their team name  (EX: #TeamVector) which Vector will tweet about before Thursday so they will already be trending
• Vector will be judging for the “funniest tweet of the night.” (photos should be included) Winner will receive a surprise gift card.
• The highest trending team will receive a PRIZE even if they are not the winner of the tournament. So each team should have friends and coworkers tweeting at their team hashtag during the games.

Since day one Danielle has helped grow Vector Media into the amazing company it is today.

We appreciate all of her hard work in planning TAB 2012 as well as all of our Christmas parties and major events!

Today was NY Media Day! The theme for 2012 was “Communicating Without Borders”

All three panels were extremely informative as well as each of the speakers.

The highlight of our day was the closing keynote speaker, Wendy Clark the SVP of Integrated Marketing and Capabilities at The Coca-Cola Company. Her speech was inspiring and it really put us in awe of all the unique campaigns that Coca-Cola has ran in the past.  Out of all the examples that she mentioned our two favorites were the “Hug Me” Coca-Cola vending machine and the “Move to the beat” campaign for the London Olympics.

Wendy’s final sentence left us feeling motivated.

“Think Big. Start Small. Scale Fast. Listen. Play Well. Do not accept the status quo.”
