If you’ve ever wondered how the Wishing Star came to be, this animated musical feature, released on Nov. 22, 2023, is an ode to that legacy that has been featured so prominently throughout Disney Animation’s history. In anticipation of the release, Disney wanted to promote the film in busy, high-traffic areas, such as downtown districts and bus stops in Los Angeles, CA.
Disney’s “wish” came true by implementing the perfect placement of 500 Transit Shelters throughout LA. The shelters blanketed heavy traffic and pedestrian walkways in West Hollywood, Long Beach, Century City, and everywhere in-between. Optimizing the number of shelters placed in targeted sectors enabled the brand to boost the reach and frequency of the 4-week campaign. It is undeniable that the Shelters high-quality advertising canvas paired with Disney’s vibrant creative, spanning across the city, help spread the word to tune-in!
