United Airlines kicked off a clever, tech savvy advertising campaign to convince NYC travelers they should fly out of its Newark hub instead of JFK Airport. Vector’s development team partnered with United to adapt live traffic data technology for a digital transit display network. Thanks to the versatility of the Digital Double Deckers, it was a seamless collaboration.
Over a 6 month campaign, 4 Digital Double Deckers showcased the data live on their 27-foot LED displays, primarily targeting affluent business districts and commuter hubs including World Trade Center, Penn Station/Madison Square Garden and Columbus Circle.
